DON'T BE AFRAID TO FAIL

Don't Be Afraid To Fail -

---You’ve failed many times, even though you may not remember. You fell, the first time you tried to walk. You couldn’t swim the first time you tried to swim. Did you hit the ball, the first time you swung the bat?

---Heavy hitters, the ones who hit the most home runs, also strikeout a lot. Babe Ruth hit 714 homers, also had 1330 strikeouts. R. H. Macy had seven failures before his New York store caught on. Novelist, John Creasey, got 753 rejection slips before he published 564 books.

---The message is – don’t worry about failure. You're going to FAIL, sometimes. It's natural. If you're going to worry, worry about not trying.

FAMOUS FAILURES

.
---Some famous names you all have heard. It goes to show that everyone seems to have their share of defeats. Don't lose interest in life. As it says ''risk=living.''

WISH FOR 2011 - ATTITUDE UPGRADE

My Wish for 2011

I Hope We All Learn
Not To Save Face As Much
There Is Really No Need
That Is Why
There's So Much Hypocrisy
In The World

People Are Worried About
Looking Good
Instead Of Telling The Truth

I Think This Is Our
Basic Problem
And It Runs The Course
Of Human Existence

We'd Be Our True Selves
A Whole Lot Sooner
If We Weren't Worried About This

As far as I Can Tell
Most Of Us Save Face
And It NEVER Has Good Results

The Less Saving Face
In The NEW YEAR
It Seems To Me
The Better Off We'll Be

A WAKE UP CALL -

AN AWAKENING -

The World Of Acceptance
Is A Wonderful World To Live In
Because We See How Weak
Our Judgments Can Be

We Allow Things To Be
Just What They Are
We Don't Try To Change
What We See
To Fit Any Pattern

We Let Things Grow
As They Were Meant To Grow
Without Impressing Our Shortsightedness
Upon Them

I Know Things Need
A Little Push, Sometimes,
But, When Push Comes To Shove
Isn't ACCEPTANCE What We're Looking For?
